HUGO AWARDS 2012 - OS INDICADOS

Hugo Awards

O Hugo Awards é uma premiação anual realizada pela World Science Fiction Society, com o objetivo de eleger o melhor da ficção científica e fantasia em diferentes meios, que incluem romances, contos, cinema, televisão e, claro, quadrinhos.


Capitão-América: O Primeiro Vingador

Na categoria Melhor História Gráfica, os quadrinhos que concorrerão ao prêmio são Digger (Sofawolf Press), por Ursula Vernon; Fables Vol. 15: Rose Red (Vertigo), por Bill Willingham e Mark Buckingham; Locke & Key Volume 4: Keys to the Kingdom (IDW), de Joe Hill e Gabriel Rodriguez; Schlock Mercenary: Force Multiplication (The Tayler Corporation), de Howard Tayler; e The Unwritten Volume 4: Leviathan (Vertigo), por Mike Carey e Peter Gross.

Já na categoria Melhor Apresentação Dramática - Filmes, Capitão América: O Primeiro Vingador foi indicado para concorrer com produções como Game of Thrones, A Invenção de Hugo Cabret, Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte Parte 2 e Contra o Tempo.


A Invenção de Hugo Cabret

Além disso, alguns autores que estão produzindo obras para os quadrinhos receberam indicações individuais por seus trabalhos em outras áreas.

Neil Gaiman concorrerá como autor do episódio The Doctor's Wife, do seriado Doctor Who. Já Paul Cornell foi indicado pelo conto The Copenhagen Interpretations, enquanto China Miéville (da nova série Dial H) participa com o seu romance Embassytown.
